The Cotton Brute will be at the NMRA Convention (Texas Express) and National Train Show from August 25 - 27, 2023 at the Gaylord Texan Resort in Grapevine TX.  It will then be at the Altoona Weekend on September 16 and 17. The NRail Board will be deciding on any future shows after that.

The Cotton Brute will operate on the NTRAK layouts in Grapevine and in Altoona.  Cotton Brute cannot operate on Free-moN layouts due to its 1970s deep wheel flanges (Free-moN uses Allas Code 55 track).  Unless all other trains are stopped the Brute cannot operate on a T-TRAK layout due to its length and extreme overhang.

The Cotton Brute will pull a special train consisting of the 50th Anniversary RPO, the MR "MR&T" coach, 4 of the original hopper cars from the 1984 record train, and a variety of club cars. Anyone can add cars to the train and can operate the Brute at the shows.
